LONDON GRILL! “Best Dish of the Year!”
Over 50 of Philadelphia’s top chefs gathered to compete for culinary awards in categories of “savory” and “sweet” and the big prize, “Best Dish of the Year!” Besides the distinctive award we were given a check for 2,500.00 and a full page ad in Philadelphia Magazine!
The glamourous event and party took place on the evening of Wednesday, January 17th, as hundreds of guests wined and dined while the judging was taking place. To make it extra special, this year Philly Cooks! took place at the newly restored Switch House, Turbine Hall, on the wharf in Rivertown,
Chester, PA. All the proceeds from these VIP tickets went to MANNA.
The Dish? Michael McNally’s Gnudi with guanciale brown butter. Gnudi means ‘naked ravioli’.
